Module Description

This course will introduce the basics of agricultural planning, covering high-level soils identification and the classification of lands potential for agricultural use. By the end of this course, students should be able to complete an "ag cap" and assign a rating to a parcel of land. This is a common assignment for a junior consultant to help aid in decision making regarding agricultural land.

Module Format

This module begins online with the background reading and exercises (less than 1 hour) and continues when we meet in-person (2-3 hours).
